Robyn and I have been friends since 2007, when we met at a hair model casting. We’ve been quoting movies and text-watching them together ever since! Shes driven, HARD WORKING, hilarious and my go-to tech guru.
Let’s get to know Robyn Francis:
What does healthy mean to you?
Being fit and strong, and having an intestinal system that works well. Having a spastic colon means I need to exercise and eat a lot of fresh fruit and veg. When that doesn’t happen, it’s remarkable how sluggish and gross I feel.
What is your chosen form of exercise?
What does your way of healthy eating look like?
Lots of fresh fruit and veg, wholewheat things, lots of water, but balance – I drink coffee and wine, and I eat carbs.
What is your passion project?
a) Building a blog that speaks to regular women – interested in business and the world around them, finding a balance and happy space, and just living well, without obsession. There are so many important issues that face us daily and are swept under the rug, or discussed briefly and left on the side. It’s not ok.
b) Helping small businesses make the most of the free tools at hand to let the world know about their amazing products / services.
What does a typical day look like for you?
If not – Wake up around 5, coffee and email catch up. At work until 6ish, try sneak in a trip to the park for a run/walk with Bruce, dinner, work, bed (10ish)
What would you like people to know about you?
I know I take my work too personally and ‘work too hard’, but I’m fine. This is what works for me, and I’m enjoying it.
What would you like people to know about your work / business?
I believe in what I do, and doing it properly. I think there are a lot of people ‘doing social media’ and ‘content’ but there is so much more than just posting to Facebook.
Favourite workout song?
Jump on my shoulders – AWOLnations
Waiting all night – Rudimental
Favourite exercise and why?
A good, long run. By long I mean 10km.
Favourite quote / advice:
We’re in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell… one inch at a time.
